Having had roles such as CTO and COO, I worked on major parts of Db’s transformation from a fast-growing startup into a global brand. This included modernizing the operating model, building the technology ecosystem, working on the planning and forecasting process, and strengthening cross functional execution.

Unified data model for scale

At Db, one of the key priorities was to develop a single, reliable source of truth across sales, operations, finance, and supply chain. To solve this, we implemented a centralised data model that connected Shopify, BrightPearl, and global logistics partners into one coherent ecosystem.

This system powered real-time analytics across revenue, margins, inventory, and customer behaviour, giving leadership the visibility needed to run the business with precision.

Profitable global logistics

As Db expanded internationally, the existing logistics model limited speed, margin, and operational control. We led internally the design and rollout of a global logistics network that combined regional 3PL partners with factory-direct replenishment. This model shortened lead times, reduced cost per unit, and improved delivery accuracy across Europe, North America, and Asia. By routing inventory directly from factories to customers and partners, we increased agility, lowered working capital needs, and delivered a more localised customer experience worldwide.
